Although you may sometimes or regularly feel as if you have no energy, your body is in fact energy. What you do with your energy dictates the way you feel, the quality of your life and the relationship you have with others.
‘Shiatsu’ literally means ‘pressure point’ in Japanese. By applying pressure to an area situated along one of the many channels of vital energy flowing throughout your body, you are able to stimulate that flow of energy and to unblock stagnated energy where necessary. Consider a blocked river, where in one place there is too much water, whilst in another there is a less. The energy in your body operates on exactly the same principle. Places where energy is stagnated become weak and painful, increasing the chance of dis-ease.
A private shiatsu treatment lasts for 90 minutes, including 15 minutes in the beginning in which your dis-ease is discussed and 15 minutes at the end of the treatment where I will give you advise and/or exercises related to what I feel you need at that moment. Those who follow the lessons are able to make appointments for private shiatsu treatments and benefit from a reduction in price. This can be a way of deepening the development of self-awareness, giving you greater insight, which will in turn help you to develop further. SHIATSU is officially recognized by the Japanese Ministry of Health as an important method of healing. Shiatsu Therapy (all prices include tax)
